This course is an intensive version of a semester-long class originally created for and taught at a local private school. Designed as an introduction to architecture, the course covers architectural history, theory and and the fundamentals of design.

The intensive version is 15 hours of instruction that can be formatted into a 3 or 5-day summer intensive . Each day consists of a combination of lectures and interactive architectural exercises. Because of the level of instruction, this course is intended for high school and college-aged students.

~How to Write Like an Architect

~Mythical Beginnings and Diagramming Narratives

~The Architecture of Antiquity, the Classical Orders and the Golden Section

~The Architecture of the Renaissance and Palladian Building Analysis

~Urban Form and Mapping Rome using the Nolli Map

~A Survey of Modern and Postmodern Art and Architecture
